Pregnancy check-ups
The pregnancy check-ups take place during our consultation hours. At each check-up we will discuss how you are doing, and give you new information appropriate to the period of your pregnancy. We will check your blood pressure, assess the growth of your uterus and later in the pregnancy also the position of your baby. At every check-up we will listen to your baby's heart. There is also an opportunity to ask questions.
During the first check-up (the intake) we will go through all your details, your medical history and your wishes regarding your pregnancy and birth. This will take about 30-45 minutes. The subsequent check-ups will take about 15 minutes. Of course, we also do ultrasounds. An early ultrasound, a term ultrasound and the 20-week ultrasound. Any ultrasound scans later in the pregnancy are on medical grounds. You are always free to bring your partner, a family member or a friend to the consultation hour. You can also make use of our evening consultation hours.

Guidance and support
Our care for you during your pregnancy is guided and supportive in nature. Through tailor-made care, information and advice, we try to make your nine months a special time. We believe that a personal approach is very important, and that involvement and attention are self-evident.
We try to plan things in such a way that during the consultation checks you will have seen every midwife in your team at least once. This way you get to know them all, which is nice for when you are about to give birth. Read more about Team Pink and/or Team Blue.
