Costs of maternity care

The maternity care that we provide is included in the basic package of your health insurance. This means that the insurer will reimburse the prescribed hours of maternity care.except for the own mandatory statutory contribution.

OWN CONTRIBUTION

As is the case for every maternity care organisation, we are obliged to charge you a statutory personal contribution. You must pay this personal contribution yourself. In 2022, the statutory personal contribution will be € 4.60 per hour of maternity care. The level of the personal contribution is set each year by the government. The personal contribution is collected directly by the health insurer or by us via direct debit. We will inform you about the personal contribution during the intake interview.

If you have supplementary insurance, there is a good chance that the personal contribution will be reimbursed. Other products and services such as advice from a lactation expert or the rental of items such as breast pumps are often reimbursed as well. So read your policy carefully or ask your health insurer about this.

HEALTH INSURER

At the end of each year, you can change health insurers. If you are going to change health insurer, but you don't know yet who your new insurer will be, you can already register with PUUR Kraamzorg. When registering, please mention your current health insurer. We would like to ask you to pass on the details of your new health insurance to us as soon as they are known.
