Fun Ultrasound

At PUUR (Hoofddorp and Hillegom) we show your child in the most beautiful way and we explain what you can see. Thanks to the latest ultrasound equipment, the (moving) images are sharper and even clearer!

We really take the time for you and you will be extensively informed about the ultrasound images in a relaxed atmosphere. Friends and family are also welcome to join in the fun. We make photos of the most beautiful images that you receive in a nice folder. In addition, all ultrasound photos and videos after the ultrasound can be shared with you via a link. This way you have a beautiful and tangible memory of this unique period, which you can also easily share with family or friends!

2D, 3D AND 4D

What is the difference?

  • 2D echo: 2 dimensional images in black and white
  • 3D echo: Still 3 dimensional images in color
  • 4D echo: Moving 3 dimensional images in color

BOY OR GIRL?

From 15 weeks it is possible to use the ultrasound to see whether your baby is a boy or girl. We call this a gender determination. We will check with you whether your baby is a boy or girl or, if you wish, we will give the gender in an envelope for, for example, a gender reveal party. A gender determination is an ultrasound in 2D and takes 15 minutes.

3D/4D ECHO

During this ultrasound we first look in 2D (black and white) to see how the baby is looking. When the baby is in the right position, we take pictures in 3D and if possible we watch live in the womb in 4D (moving 3D). The best period to make a 3D/4D ultrasound is around 25 to 30 weeks of pregnancy. Your baby will start to have some rounder cheeks around this period and still has enough space in the womb so that we can take a good look at the baby. This ultrasound lasts 30 minutes.

Peek ultrasound

Do you just want to take a closer look at your baby? This is also possible with the "Just a peek ultrasound". You can plan this ultrasound at any time during the pregnancy and it is a 2D ultrasound of 15 minutes. We look at the baby from all sides and take nice pictures for you. Or, if you prefer, we can measure the baby.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT?

With every ultrasound, there are several factors that determine how beautiful the photos will be, such as the position of the baby, the location of the placenta and the thickness of the mother's abdominal wall. We have no influence on this. Of course we always do our utmost to portray your baby as beautifully as possible. 

Tricefy

When you come for an ultrasound at PUUR for the first time, we will ask you if you want to use the link of the ultrasound images with Tricefy. With this link you get the ultrasound photos and videos digitally sent to your phone during every ultrasound at PUUR! These images are automatically saved on your phone and are very easy to share with others. The link with Tricefy costs 5 euros once and can be paid at the first ultrasound in cash or by check.

Of course you will also receive a few printed photos, even if you do not use the link with Tricefy.
