PUUR Ultrasound

A number of our midwives have been trained as ultrasound technicians. Therefore, we do all the medical ultrasounds ourselves, which is very trusted! The ultrasounds are made at our main locations in Hoofddorp and Hillegom. If you would like to enjoy the ultrasound at another time besides the medical ultrasound, you can have a fun ultrasound.

MEDICAL ULTRASOUNDS

An early ultrasound scan and the term ultrasound scan are conducted in the first trimester of your pregnancy. At the 20-week ultrasound we will screen your baby's health. If necessary, more ultrasounds are made, for instance to check the growth or the position of the baby. These ultrasounds are done on medical grounds and are covered by your basic health insurance.

FUN ULTRASOUND

PUUR geboortecentrum (Hoofddorp and Hillegom) offers also ultrasound for fun. We will visualise your baby in the most beautiful way possible and explain what you can see. Thanks to the latest 4D ultrasound equipment the (moving) images are sharper and even clearer. For an ultrasound you can make an appointment through our assistants by phone.
