Breast pumps
There are different kinds of breast pumps: manual and electric. Electric pumps are single- or double-sided. They also vary in price. Depending on the frequency with which you want to pump, you can decide together with the maternity nurse what is the most suitable pump for you.
A hand pump is cheap and suitable if you need to pump a few times a week. If you need to pump all feedings for a long time in a row, for instance when your baby can't drink at the breast, it's better to use a good electric (double-sided) breast pump with a powerful motor. MEDELA SYMPHONY
Medela Symphony, this is a medical pump and is mainly used during or just after the week of delivery to give an extra push to the production. Rent is €2.50 per day, when renting this pump, a deposit of 150 euro has to be paid, cash or pin. When renting this pump, the purchase of the medela persanol fit Symphony is necessary.
MEDELA PERSONAL FIT SYMPHONY
You can buy this set when you rent a Medela Symphony. We sell them in 3 sizes S/M/L. One set costs €38.
MEDELA NIPPLE CAP
This is a nipple cap, we sell this product for 10 euros in 3 different sizes S/M/L. Not every woman needs a hat. You can ask your midwife or maternity nurse for advice. For €9,95 per set of 2 nipple caps.
PURELAN
Is a 100% natural cream that you can use during your breastfeeding period to support the nipple and areola. €6,75 per tube.
MEDELA HYDROPADS
Medela Hydrogel Pads (four pieces) provide immediate relief from nipple cracks and wounds, and soothe sore nipples. The pads can be kept in the fridge for extra cooling if needed. They can be used for 24 hours. €14.35 per box.
BOEZEMVRIENDJES
Herbal Boezemvriendjes stimulate milk production. We sell the Boezemvriendjes for €10 per bag. The capsules contain the finest grind fenugreek, maria thistle and galega (goat's rue).
