Under supervision of the gynecologist

In the Haarlem and Haarlemmermeer region, you always start with an intake interview with the midwife. After the intake interview, the midwife and the gynecologist draw up a care path. This could mean that you will come under the supervision of the gynecologist afterwards.

If you are comfortable with this, you can visit the obstetrician again at 33 weeks of pregnancy.

After the birth, when you and your baby go home, the midwife and the maternity care will perform the checkups at home during the maternity bed. Depending on when you give birth, we will visit you 2 to 3 times at home in the first week after the birth. During these visits we check you and the baby and provide information.
