Sleeping badly

Pregnant women sometimes sleep badly for various reasons

CAUSE

Your belly is in the way, turning around is not so easy anymore and you wake up more often. In addition, your baby in the womb has its own biorhythm and does not care much about you. A tumbling baby in your belly can sometimes keep you from sleeping. The frequent urination is not conducive to a good night's sleep either. You may also experience calf cramps, heartburn and tingling fingers. Furthermore, there is often still a lot to be done at home, which can cause you to think for hours.

TIPS

  • Try not to go to bed too late.
  • Take time to unwind before going to bed. Don't procrastinate and go for a walk in the evening or take a warm bath or shower.
  • Don't drink coffee in the evening, but instead have a cup of warm milk before bed.
